A Wedding at Zigbone Farm
We are smack in the middle of three bit weddings in a row. This has been the first time I’ve brought along help to deliver-Lauren last week and Lalania this week. It’s really wonderful having another person along. I’ve always been a bit jealous of the catering crews loading in, joking and laughing, while I pull my little cart alone. But not this month! We are delivering more flowers than ever and having someone along makes it a much more laid back experience-which means enough down time to take pictures! I thought I’d share. The location for this weeding was Zigbone Farm north of Frederick. It was jaw droppingly gorgeous there. Every bit of the gardens were effortlessly perfect down to poppies springing up from between flagstones in the paths. The brides paired the location perfectly with one of the most thoughtful guest gifts I’ve ever seen-hand sewn quilt squares with dedications to each person on the back, dotted down family style tables for the reception. The color pallate mixed effortlessly with our in season florals to set the table for a great party.
